Cute kids, 4th of July

And here we go:

Owen has discovered that Coopers snack cup contains goodies and goes for it every time he sees it. He figured out how to get the stuff out

we have found that Owen LOVES popsicles Cooper wanted a picture taken of him eating his Ice cream but it was already gone

Chris built us a picnic table. Cooper loves to eat outside so it has already been put to good use

I was cleaning up my room the other day and this is how I found Owen

I told cooper to go up and get his sippy cup from upstairs so we could leave and this is how he came down stairs

Um this is how he is most of the time...Funny story the other day I was giving both boys a bath I was combing my hair and I heard this gurgle, slurping,gaggy, noise from the tub and look over and Owen is doing this yes sucking his toes Underwater.

We went camping a few weeks ago with Chris' Family I have a bunch of other pictures so it will get its own post but I thought this one was too cute Not to share

We had lots of fun. We spent the day at my parents and just did a few with Cooper and Hannah. Cooper is not a fan of loud noises so he wears earmuffs when we do anything that is loud (like mow the lawn) so that night was no exception however when we got home around 10pm our neighborhood was just getting started!! they were lighting off the loudest and brightest,Cooper was afraid to be alone in his room so he kept begging to wear his muffs to bed. We let him stay up with us for a little while and we watched outside when our neighbor informed us that our street is the loudest and busiest in about a 5 block radius..great.... Owen however slept through the entire thing.

So we have been having a ton of fun over the last month and half so here is picture proof- they are not in any particular order so I will explain as we go ( on those that may need it anyway)

First - Chris has a birthday! We had family over to celebrate.

My parents are redoing their kitchen and floors this summer so while Heather and the girls were here this weekend papa taught Janae and Cooper how to take off the molding

COOPER

• knows all his letters and there sounds
• can spell his name
  
• finally doesn't cry when he goes to nursery
  
• loves to play with owen and constantly asks for Owen to chase him around the house
• likes to play golf in the back yard
• loves trains
• climbs in the car and his car seat all by himself(won't let us help him)
• LOVES and I mean L-O-V-E-S Papa(my dad)
• when we ask him to do something he says" i can't I am busy right now"
• we were at the post office the other day and he was running all over and I told him to come over by me and focus on staying there and he replies" focus, focus. speed. I. am. speed faster than fast quicker than quick, I am Lightning" (it's the opening line from "Cars")the lady behind us looks at him and then at me and laughs.
• the other day I was trying to get ready to go somewhere so I laid Owen on the couch and Cooper ws playing by him and I ran upstairs to get something and I heard Owen start fussing but then he stopped so when I came down stairs I looked and Cooper was kneeling next to the couch and was quietly singing "I am A Child of God" and Owen had his hand on Cooper's shoulder. when Cooper was done with the song he looked at me and said "Owen was crying then I singed him I am a Child of God and he stoppeded crying. (and with a matter of fact look) I am a good big brother"

Owen-

• 5 months old weighs about 18 lbs
• likes to eat ,we have started giving him food and we can't sit at the table without giving hi food also
• likes to be outside
• watches cooper like a hawk
  
• slobbers like a waterfall
• has already had to have 2 haircuts(Cooper got his 1st at 14 months)
• doesn't sleep longer than 3 hrs at night
• talks up a storm
• likes to lay and watch whatever is going on
• WE love him dearly and I can't believe he is already 5 months
