2 Months, Houses, and a foot
23.75 inches (80th percentile)
I just thought it was funny that instead of handing Cooper to me while he shaved Chris took him in with him. Cooper loved to just lay there and watch.
Graham Cracker Houses
This year do to the weather we weren't able to get together with my family to do graham cracker houses... So we invited our neighbors over and did them.

The Update , Kinda Long
Sorry Its taken me so long to get another post up but I have this really cute boy that I spend the day snuggling with.
So here is the story of my exciting labor and delivery story for those who have been asking,
It started Thursday the 16. I went to the Dr.s and they scheduled an induction appt. for me Friday the 17 at 5am!! so Chris and I got ready and then friday at 4 am the hospital called and said they didn't have enough room for us to come so we had to wait and they would call. that was kinda frustrating but then I was able to get a few more hours of sleep. So they called at about 10:30 and said come on up. by 11:30 we were in our room and all hooked up to the IV stuff. so we went along through the day with not much happening they told me to walk and that would help so we did no such luck. By 6pm I was still at a 2cm so they decided to turn the pitocin down and let me eat and shower and sleep that night then turn it back up in the morning. So Saturday morning the started turning the pitocin back up and at 11:30am the Dr. came in and said that I was a 3 and could stretch to a 4 so she said they could break my water. She did and that was all it took. I was in Labor. not just from the pitocin but my own body took over also. so I had no Idea that contractions felt like that. They were mostly in my back which killed but nonetheless I am a wimp when it comes to pain so I got the Epidural. That was great so I laid around through the afternoon and then my blood pressure kept dropping and Coopers heart rate kept dropping also. so I ended up on oxygen and had to keep rotating everywhere but my left side, they think that his cord was on that side so when I laid on that side it would compress it, so that was fun, at about 7pm they came and checked me and I was at a whopping 4+ cm yeah!! They told me that the average person goes 1cm an hour from this point on. okay 5 more hours i thought. the came back around 9:30 because i could feel that contractions more and alot more pressure well they checked and I was a 10 and fully effaced!! so they got things ready and told me I could start pushing, I couldn't feel the contractions well enough to know what /when i should push so they had to turn down my epidural and then I had no problem knowing what i was supposed to do. I pushed for an hour or so with no progress. the mid wife that was there was not so nice and kept checking me through contractions and then it was so painful that I'll I could do was cry which made my mom cry so Chris had to control us both. so then the midwife said that Cooper may not be coming out this way and went to get the OBGYN she came in and was very nice she explained to me that his head was not coming down like they would like and she could try and help which would hurt and we may end up in a c section or we could just go straight to the c section. We opted for that choice and off everything went. From the time we said do the c section to the time Cooper was born was about 30 min it was fast I was suprised. Thats my labor and delivery. It was all worth it though I have a cute little family now (pic to come).
Thanks to all who helped especially to Chris and my Mom. I love you guys

Okay this is from my sister in law Shanna.
1. Where did you first meet your husband [boyfriend]?
we met in Eugene. He started at the U of O and moved into the ferry st house which is where my roommates fiance lived so I met him that way
2. What was the first thing you said to your husband [boyfriend]?
I honestly don't remember I do remember that we played a weird game one Sunday after church where you sit in a circle and someone says something they have done and if you have done that you move and if not you stay out so people end up sitting on each other and i enden up having to sit on his lap and I remember him turning red I thought it was cause I was squshing him!!
3. Where was your first date? The corn maze It was great. It was also the first time he held my hand.
4. Where was your first kiss?
In front of his house. He was walking me to my car, which he did every night, but this night he had turned his hat backward as we were walking and I knew something was up. It was also the night that he told me he had never kissed any one before. anyway so we get to my car and he gave me a hug, like usual, but he didn't let go so he just kinda pecked at me then turned around and wnet back inside. it makes me laugh to think about it.
5. Did you have a long or short engagement/courtship? We dated 6-7 months before we got engaged then we were engaged for three months
6. Where did you get engaged? Fogarty(?) Park in Lincoln Cty
7. Where did you get married? Portland Temple
8. How did the reception go? Fine, I honestly don't remember
9. How was the honeymoon? It was great. We went to Victoria BC. It was so Pretty
I tag any one who wants to do this. I think Its fun to learn how people get together

Here are the latest pictures of Cooper. It was fun to see how big he is compared to the last ultrasound. He hardly fits in the frames. They said he is growing just like he should be. I can't wait to meet him.

UMM DEE DUMM
I just was looking at everyones posts and thought hey I should post something.
So nothing new around here. I got a new calling at church about 3 weeks ago... no more sunbeams but I am now the first councilor in the Primary presidency I am glad I was not looking forward to Relief Society :) I know thats bad. Its been fun so far. I am in charge of writing the primary program for sacrament meeting. Its a little scary but it should be okay.
As for pregnancy news I am at 27 weeks and still feeling good. It is fun to actually feel the baby move around inside of me, unless its at night when i am trying to go to sleep, I hope that doesn't mean thats how its going to be when he gets here :). As for a name we are pretty sure we are going with Cooper Christian Hanson. I know its kinda long but we wanted to use a family name and the only ones Chris would come up with were Marvel or Ragnar. Yes i did tell him he was not allowed to pick names anymore but he did redeem himself He came up with Cooper. For those of you who don't know that was my Grandmas maiden name. and we are using Christian for the middle name because its a family thing for chris' side to use the dad's name as the first son's middle name. so there more info than you needed but now you know.
Chris is working hard in school He just started his 3rd year. He has patients and everything. Its funny to hear him on the phone with people making appts.
well thats all thats going on. I hope you all are doing well.
